Dear Toothfairy

This seems to be an ongoing issue in our household but yet again we've had to write a note to the toothfairy explaining why the tooth can't be placed under the pillow.

As soon as we realized the tooth was not rescuable Brett ran off to write this note...

And this toothfairy was awfully tempted to increase the $1 when I saw this cute after thought...

Seriously thinking about framing this...

Do you have any funny or cute tooth loss stories?

When my older son was little he lost a tooth while eating and swallowed it! We wrote the tooth fairy a note. She understood :)

Those letters are sooooo cute! How old is she? My little gal is 6, she has lost 2 teeth so far. None down the drain yet!

He is almost 8. :)

He lost one while eating a burrito (also wrote a note for that one) and another was accidentially knocked out by his brother while at Disneyland! No kidding I actually heard the boys plotting to knock out the loose teeth to get the tooth fairy money after the Disneyland one came out!

Yes, our son Ben wrote "Dear Tuth Fare, I last my tuth bekas I was eting. . .mi famle cudnt find mi tuth--" Something like that. I have it framed but didn't think to photograph it before I presented it to grown-up Ben and his bride as a wedding present a year ago.
