Like a good neighbor ... Darrell is there!
It's on days like this one when I'm VERY appreciative for my neighbors. I found this coiled up in the backyard one afternoon. Both my husband and I were little chickens and didn't want to go near the thing. Very appreciative for an awesome neighbor who came to our rescue and wrangled this snake out of our yard.
Can't wait till they finish building out the field behind us and we have less wildlife venturing in to our yard!!!
(And no, this one isn't a rattle snake this time, apparently it eats other snakes. Great, but not great enough to keep it!).

OK, maybe we will wait until they finish building before we come visit you. LOL Now I see why you have issues with snakes and sleeping outside.
OMG!! This is awesome - cool - scary...all at once! You are lucky to have such a cool neighbor!!
Gah! ...Did he know what kind of snake it was?? It's big! ...and to think I was p.o.'ed because a housefly has been bothering me on my patio just now.
Uh... no way. I am so scared of snakes it's not even funny. Photos of snakes make me cringe! Thank goodness for neighbors.
OMG, I'd so freak out! Thank goodness you had a brave neighbor!
That is the kind of neighbor you want to have. So nice of him to get rid of it. A friend of mine posted a video a couple of years ago of her neighbor picking up a rattlesnake with his bare hands from her yard and tossing it over the gate. Crazy!
