More Fresh Veggie Recalls for California Region

Eating healthy is getting harder and harder to do these days.  Not only do we have to contend with super busy school schedules, work schedules and other daily activities, now we are struggling with the concern over safe fruits and veggies to eat.  

In case you haven't heard about it, there is yet another mass recall of fresh & prepared broccoli from a company named Taylor Farms Pacific.  (You can read more about it here.)  Products have been distributed to a number of grocery stores and are included in a number of the prepared meals you can purchase at stores in the California region.

Yet again, it is another reminder why home grown vegetable gardens are best and not just because they are vine ripened.  Time to start planning out those vegetable beds for the spring!
