King Kong Universal 360 3D Experience is Here!

We had the chance to head up to Universal Studios Hollywood last weekend to check out the much anticipated King Kong 360 3D experience.  I didn't know what to expect, but knew that Universal Studios would make it cool.  I watched several of the YouTube video clips from behind the scenes so I had an idea of what to expect.  Sorry, I couldn't grab an video from inside the experience (3D video just doesn't translate well on an iPhone...).  But what I can say is it is pretty cool and be sure you have an hand on any young kids because the trams really do bump and rock around quite a bit!

Couple of tips... because of the popularity of the experience and that it is the height of tourist season... be sure to arrive at the park absolutely as soon as it opens if you plan on going - especially on a weekend.  By 9:20 am the wait times are about 20-25 minutes and by 11 am the wait times are 70 minutes for the Backlot Tour.  The tram we were on actually experienced technically difficulty halfway through the King Kong experience and we had to cycle through it again, which was really cool because we got to see it one and a half times!  But unfortunately for the trams behind us... there was quite a delay.

But all in all the kids love it and the 20 minute wait we had was well worth it... it is very, VERY cool.  Have you seen it yet?  If so, what did you think?
