The exhibit was nicely tucked away under tree cover and provided a nice escape from the trees. Just beware for the spitting Dinosaur! Each of the kids was given a small passport to collect the stamps of the different Dinosaurs they saw along the path. This is a great educational bonus, because it really encourages the kids to not just look
I am very glad we made this our first stop for the day, because as the day went on, the heat became a major factor/challenge. Be sure to dress in very light clothing, bring plenty of water (unless you want to pay $4 a bottle. Yes, it is a large bottle of water though.) and as always, be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen!

I miss the WAP. When I lived in SD, I had an annual membership and would go each week with the stroller and walk around one section. The next week I would go to a different area. Try going in early morning or evening. The animals are more active at those times.
ReplyDeleteIt was very neat, but we've been havinga heatwave, so there were a lot of the paths on the hillside that were just to hot for the kids (eventhough it was 10 am!).
ReplyDeleteWe've got our passes though and plan on going back to do more exploring when this heatwave stops!
I loved all the waterfalls and other water features though... pretty cool! :)

ReplyDeleteBest electric razor that I have ever owned.. cuts close on the first try.. Very good best electric razor for elderly man. I was so impressed with them that I bought a set for my son, who's in the military and has to shave every day..
